		<description>Mike,
Thanks for mentioning LocalWineEvents.com.

Our site is a free, post-it-yourself service.

That means we depend on event-holders (restaurants, hotels, wineries, wine retailers, food shops, organizations, fundraisers and others) to add their event information to our calendar.

In return, they receive free publicity on the world's largest calendar of food and wine events. Beer and spirits events, too.

If you or your readers know about food/wine-themed events that are missing from our calendar, please encourage event-holders to post the information themselves, or please let us know so that we can contact the event-holder.

Again, it's up to the event-holder to add ("post") their own information. We don't do it for them.

We also provide other free services for consumers and food/wine professionals.

That includes free notification of upcoming events in a weekly e-mail newsletter called The Juice. We also have RSS and MyYahoo feeds.

P.S. Any e-mail information we receive is NOT provided to others.
