How To Be a Cheap Super Bowl Host
LiveScience has an article about how to make your beer last longer at your upcoming Super Bowl party. To conserve your beer, pour it into taller, thinner glasses rather than into short glasses. People apparently consistently pour 20-30% more more booze into short glasses than tall glasses even though they believe they’re pouring less.
Then again, I suppose if you just have bottles or cans, this doesn’t really work. Make sure you get a keg.

Sounds like it would have advantages not just for cheapness but also in getting the beer enjoyment without necessarily as much volume, alcohol, or calories.
