Bacardi Mardi Gras Beads for Charity
On February 25, Bacardi expects to break the record for the longest Mardi Gras bead chain. The record strand will be more than 7000 feet long with 3″ beads.
More importantly, Bacard will donate $1 for each of the first 25,000 beads pledged online to the New Orleans Tourism Rebirth Fund, so pledge a bead (for free), feel good about yourself, and support Bacardi in their efforts. When I added mine, there were only 1462 beads so far.
