AWOL May Be Banned in MA

I actually haven’t seen (or tried) one of these devices yet in Massachusetts, but lawmakers are already busy working to ban it. Interestingly, Peter Christie, president and CEO of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association said that he doesn’t know of any members who even have the machine.

AWOL (Alcohol Without Liquid) delivers alcohol by vaporizing it. Briefly perusing the website, it’s clear that some of the information is incorrect. Lowell Sun Online states that eight states have banned the machine. However, the AWOL website states, “The two components of AWOL…are legal, so yes it is.” Their website also says that the device is safe, but there is no known research on the matter. However, is it right to ban the device without first knowing what it can do?

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.
