Great Guinness Toast

Well, I’ll be at the Johnnie Walker Journey of Taste. However, if I remember and am not too wasted, I’ll make certain to toast Guinness, as Friday, February 17 is the Great Guinness Toast.
The Great Guinness Toast, sometimes known as “St. Practice Day”, is made up of Guinness drinkers across the country to try to break the record for the largest simultaneous toast. It began in Pittsburgh in 1993. Oddly though, I can’t find it at their site. Despite Guinness’s fame for marketing gimmicks, they don’t ever mention the toast. I only remembered when I saw it in the guide for the Extreme Beer Fest.
