Parkinson’s Disease

A recent study shows that drinkers and smokers are less likely to develop Parkinson’s Disease. However, don’t rush out and smoke a pack of cigarettes and down a bottle of liquor quite yet. It seems that the reason is likely due to your risk profile. If you’re a risk-taker, e.g. someone who’s willing to drink and smoke, then you’re less likely to develop Parkinson’s, which tends to afflict people who are risk-averse.

Odd, huh?

I exercise strong self control. I never drink anything stronger than gin before breakfast.
