Homebrewed Oatmeal Stout
Two days ago (I’m slow to upload pictures), I bottled the Sticky Wicket Oatmeal Stout made by Mr. Beer. I generally use Grolsch swingtop bottles that I saved. Unfortunately, they’re becoming increasingly hard to find, so I may switch to some other bottle. After going to a half dozen different package stores in the Boston area, I’ve come away with no more to buy for additional bottling.
Anyway, the beer should be ready for St. Patrick’s Day, which is what’s most exciting! All I have to do is wait for it to finish conditioning in the bottle, which should only take a week. I’ll give it two, though.
