Restaurant Serves Illegal Booze Legally
This is really just too funny. A restaurant in Dunnottar, Manitoba Canada has been serving liquor since being granted a liquor license in 1995. However, the entire village is dry. Officials uncovered the mistake in 2001. Manitoba Liquor Control Commission spokeswoman Diana Soroka says, “We realized, oh dear, there’s been an oversight here”. Apparently, the license hasn’t been revoked, but the dry laws will be voted on soon due to the opening of a new pizzeria that hopes to serve beer.
