Gluten-Free Beer

Bard’s Tale is the world’s first gluten free beer made from sorghum malt, which is an alternative to wheat, barley, rye, and oats. The beer was developed by Craig Belser suffers from Celiac Disease and is thus deprived of such things as pizza, bread, and worst of all, beer. As a result, he developed Bard’s Tale in his garage and has a company brew and distribute it to eleven states.

Now, he’s moving the operation to California and will be expanding to twenty-two states. For now, Bay Staters can only get the beer in nearby Vermont or New York. There’s no word on whether or not Massachusetts will be in those twenty-two states.
