Lover’s Cups

Developed at the MIT Media Lab, this is an interesting concept on the simple drinking glass. Lover’s Cups allow people to drink together long-distance. They contain different sensors, a motor, and wireless to allow people to drink, shake hands, and toast from afar. When both parties drink at the same time, the cups glow.
It’s a kooky but neat idea that just might fly. If computerized sexual devices (I am not going to link them) can sell, then I’m sure this can, too. Plus, it would allow me never to have to drink alone. Well, at least less frequently and when I don’t have Steve around.
