Plastic Beer Keg
Carlsberg has developed the first ever plastic beer keg, the DraughtMaster. Unfortunately, I can’t find a picture, and the article doesn’t give many details. However, it does have the key phrase, “A home version of DraughtMaster will also be launched.” That’s all I needed to hear.
I imagine that one of the unmentioned benefits of plastic kegs would be lightness. Metal kegs are already fairly heavy without beer in them. Remember the OSHA site about keg safety?
