Whence Came This Beer?
Here’s a question stolen from AZ Central:
Which of the following are brewed on the Emerald Isle?
- Guinness Extra Stout, “Traditionally Brewed /St. James’s Gate, Dublin”
- Guinness Draught
- Murphy’s Red
- Michael Shea’s Irish Amber
- Original Wexford Irish Cream Ale
- Harp
- Killian’s Irish Red, “The Official Beer of St. Patrick’s Day-Get Your Irish On!”
The correct answer is only B, Guinness Draught. I bet you didn’t know that.
Also, as a side note since it’s attached to the original article, it seems that Ben & Jerry’s has created a Black & Tan ice cream using “nonalcoholic stout extract and swirls in chocolate ice cream”. (I have no idea what “and swirls” means.) I hope this is as good as their Dublin Mudslide, which I love!
