There Goes Russian Vodka

In a follow-up to my previous post about the vodka shortage in Russia, it appears that vodka production has completely stopped at a number of distillers, including Kristall and Topaz. It’s not because they’re out of potatoes, though. It’s due to the shortage of stamps issued for tax purposes.

The good news is spring just arrived. The bad news is Russia is freezing cold regardless, and people need their drink.

The 2nd time this has happened in two months, because of stupid stamps. And then they complain about how they’re losing market share….
