The Biggest-Selling Distilled Spirit
Ask most people what the top-selling distilled liquor brand is, and they’ll probably name something owned by Diageo, which has a ridiculously large number of brands. Somewhat surprisingly, the top selling brand is actually Jinro soju according to the Top 100 Distilled Spirit Brands Worldwide rankings.
Jinro sold 58.5 million Liters of soju! In 360 mL bottles, that’s 1.625 billion bottles! That’s just crazy, especially given the limited consumption of soju outside of Asia! Of course, Asia is rather populous.
#2 was Stolichnaya vodka.
