Tequila Candy
What? You can’t get enough of the taste of tequila? Well, it appears that CI Super de Alimentos has come out with a tequila-flavored hard candy called Tequila Mix Menta Super in Latin American countries. It’s “the first on the market to have a real cocktail flavor”.
In all honesty, it sounds kind of gross to me, as it conjures up memories of drunken tequila shots in college followed by large amounts of toilet bowl-hugging. Of course, if they managed to impart the taste and aroma of a fine tequila without the horrible throat burn, then I might be willing to try it out. Alternatively, a nice introduction of salt and aftertaste of lime might do it.

I actually have this candy and it’s quite good. I am trying to figure out where I can find more of it in the states.
