Reusing Cans for Art

O'Doul's Cricket

The other day, I returned two large bags of beer cans at the grocery store for a measly $1.70. It’s no wonder that people don’t bother recycling. That paid for maybe half a loaf of bread.

Perhaps this would be a better option: turning beer cans into works of art. This is a collection of impressive sculptures ranging from animals to planes made out of old cans (not all of them are beer cans as is clear with the O’Doul’s cricket). It’s certainly neater than stacking them into large pyramids.

I wish someone would take beer cans and use their knitting skills to create some sort of hat made out of beer cans that I could wear. I think that would sell.
