Beer Cures Cow
Feeding beer to cows has a long tradition in some parts of the world. Just look at Kobe beef from Japan where the cows are massaged and fed beer. Yeast in the beer likely increases the cows appetite, and it’s rumored that these activities help produce the prized marbled meat. Then, the coveted meet is sold at over $100/pound.
In the western hemisphere, there doesn’t seem to be any similar tradition. However, a cow in the UK was recently cured of a stomach ailment with beer. Now, I’m going to conduct some human research on this possible solution.
