5 Good Questions About Whisk(e)y

These days, I find that most people don’t know their whisky from their whiskey, so reading up on these five questions (and answers) about whiskey might be helpful:

  • How does US whiskey measure up to Scotch whisky?
  • What are the differences among American whiskeys?
  • How do bourbons differ?
  • What’s Tennessee whiskey?
  • Is there anything to small-batch or single-barrel bourbons?

In case you’re wondering, I’m having Maker’s Mark whisky on a couple rocks right now. (Yup, Maker’s Mark despite being American is spelled without the “e”.)
