$1000 Mint Julep
Joining the list of outrageously priced cocktails is the $1000 mint julep.
50 of the cocktails will be available at the Kentucky Derby on May 6. They’ll be made from Woodford Reserve bourbon and served in a gold-plated cup with silver straw. Other ingredients include mint from Morocco, ice from the Arctic Circle, and sugar from the South Pacific.
Proceeds will go to the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation.
