Carnival of Drinking Update
I’m making an executive decision to delay the first Carnival of Drinking to May 1, 2006. (Submission deadline of April 30, 2006.)
This is due to a number of reasons:
- I’d delay it by a week but have no desire to compete with Mixology Monday. Go buy a bottle of Pastis instead and submit something for that!
- This will give more time for submissions for the first edition.
- I haven’t had a chance to advertise the first Carnival of Drinking properly. I do want this to be a productive use of time that can drive traffic to everyone’s blogs.
- I’m in a transition period right now and have too many other things to think about.
In the meantime, please submit a good post or two for the Carnival of Drinking! There’s no set theme for the first edition—just submit your best!
