Mead for Passover

I was just reading a friend’s blog when she wrote that it sucked that she hadn’t had a beer for a while and can’t now due to Passover. Personally, I know nothing of Judaism, since I grew up in Indiana. (Check out this cool map gallery of religion in the US to see what I mean.) However, I did just run across this article suggesting mead as a replacement for beer.

Mead is made of honey, water, and yeast, so there’s no grain mixed with the yeast. Of course, mead isn’t the same as beer, but it’s better than going completely without, right?

The writer of the article recommends drying out Mountain Meadows Trickster’s Treat Agave Mead, which has the taste of mead and mezcal all in one.

When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
