Brief Vodka Primer
Three facts about vodka are mentioned in this brief vodka primer. The facts themselves aren’t really organized too well, but there is a wealth of information in this jumbled article:
- Vodka’s history is shrouded in mystery. I just won’t bother going into this, as this really is a big legal and historical debate.
- Vodka is made from fermented grain, which can pretty much be anything. You could make it from wheat, sorghum, corn, molasses, grapes, potatoes, and more. This, too, is a huge legal debate.
- Although vodka itself is mostly tasteless, there are now plenty of flavored vodkas. And of course, you can do it yourself.
