Pocket Bar & Grill for iPod

Pocket Bar & Grill for iPodIs that a bar in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

Before you go off and pay $10 for Pocket Bar & Grill, be sure to read the CNET review. They think it’s a fun resource to have on hand with 750 mixed drink recipes and 225 food recipes. However, it does have some limitations such as lack of variations, no linking in the notes, lack of certain recipes, etc.

My take on it (I haven’t used the full program, as I’m unwilling to pay $10 for this) is if you don’t feel like spending time doing this yourself, then $10 given to someone else isn’t a bad idea. It saves you time and effort, leaving them for other things such as drinking. However, creating notes for your iPod is ridiculously simple. Anybody can do it. All you do is create a text file and drag it to your iPod. If you’re a tightwad like me, then you plan on compiling your own and then possibly releasing it for the world to use. (Stay tuned.)
