Diet Liquor

Considering the success of light beers and diet sodas, it was only a matter of time before this happened. United Spirits is releasing a diet vodka.

They already sell a diet whisky called DietMate, a variant of No. 1 McDowell Whisky. With 10,000 cases sold a month, they’re eager to move to other liquors. The vodka will likely be released under the Romanov brand.

Interestingly, the diet whisky isn’t low in alcohol or calories. Instead, it has ingredients that supposedly “lead to enhanced metabolism”, and it sounds like the diet vodka would be the same.

I have no idea if these products are available in the US. Probably not.
