Two Buck Chucks Creator Talks Crazy

Fred Franzia, the creator of Two Buck Chuck, went before the press two days ago and expounded on some interesting opinions about the wine industry. Recently, he lost a courtroom battle against Napa Valley Vintners for using the name Napa Ridge, Napa Creek, and Rutherford Vintners when none of the grapes can from Napa Valley. However, that isn’t stopping him. Plus, the label won’t cease to exist. Instead, he’ll simply start using only Napa grapes.

He introduced his new Harlow Ridge label made from Lodi grapes, coerced wine writers to try White Zin, compared Australia’s wine industry to the World Trade Center collapse (can anyone say “no-no”?), and issued a blind taste test challenge.
