Mixxit
After playing around with this site for a few minutes, I have to say it’s not bad, especially for a commercial site. Mixxit is a new, interactive website launched by the drinks supplier Maxxium. It’s focused on the UK, so some of the info may seem a bit off. However, the site itself is generally useful.
The site’s aimed at mixologists to learn not only about different cocktails but also about the basics of bartending. Much of it can be found at any standard bartending site or in a book, but the interactive features are key. For example, try out the Mixx Sliders to adjust taste, sweetness, and strength to get appropriate cocktail suggestions.
