Tosa Space Sake
I try hard to beat all of my fellow bloggers to the punch, but sometimes, a cool article just slips right by me. This is one of them: The Martini Lounge presents a blog entry Vinography regarding Tosa Space Sake, which was originally announced back in January by Asahi. Basically, the yeast was sent up into space and brought back. Somehow, alder at Vinography finagled it from a couple selfless Japanese people who were willing to share it with him, so of course, he wrote a review; it’s pretty damn good.
There’s no word on how much the sake costs or if the average Joe can even get his hands on a bottle. However, considering it’s from Japan and it was sent to space, I’m guessing it’s really freaking expensive.
