Fame & Fortune from The NY Times
The NY Times is going to pick a summer cocktail for 2006 to be presented on June 21 (my birthday! please send liquor). Send nominations for the best summer cocktail with a recipe to dining@nytimes.com with “cocktail” in the subject line. If you don’t have email (hahaha), then send it to The Dining Section, The New York Times, 229 West 43rd Street, New York, N.Y. 10036. The deadline is June 9.
If your drink is selected, then they’ll send you a collection of books on cocktails and bartending. Presumably, you’ll also garner fame. The fortune would be the books.
