Ketel One DVDs Arrived
Amazingly, the free Ketel One DVDs have already arrived! It’s been only two weeks. For a freebie, that’s amazingly fast.
The “Generations” DVD is a 12-minute short history about Ketel One. It’s a bit goofy and reminds me of something on the History channel, but it was fun and interesting.
The second DVD is much, much better. “The Ultimate Ketel One Cocktail Guide” walks you through everything related to cocktails. It’s not just a couple of boring cocktails that happen to have Ketel One. Instead, it has ten popular vodka cocktails along with an intro about setting up the bar and cutting garnishes. It’s pretty informative and would be very helpful for any novice home bartender. The DVD also has a brief lesson on vodka tasting and some other stuff. Interestingly, the back of the DVD has a suggested retail price of $24.99. I can’t imagine anyone actually paying that much for this even though it is a pretty high quality DVD. Some douchebags are even trying to sell it on eBay for $4.99 and up.
