Missouri State Cocktail Day
Apparently, there’s another reason to visit Missouri aside from the Arch and Budweiser tours: June 17 is State Cocktail Day. What’s kind of odd, though, is this Times article is the only reference I can find online. The British recommend ordering a Stoli Doli at Capital Grille in Kansas City or Key Lime Martini at Pin Up Bowl in St. Louis.
A cocktail may not go so well with fried ravioli, though. In the end, the recommended pairing just might be a Bud, considering Anheuser-Busch’s home is St. Louis.
