Former Rolling Rock Brewery Sold
The Pennsylvania Office of the Governor has issued a statement saying that the Latrobe Brewing Company has been sold to City Brewery in Wisconsin. This is great news for the city of Latrobe, PA and the workers at the brewery who had been worrying about their futures ever since Anheuser-Busch bought Rolling Rock and the announcement that the Latrobe brewery would close. Of course, who knows what will happen after the sale? However, this must be at least somewhat assuring.
