Belgian Beer Fest Oct. 27-28
It’s never too early to plan for a beer fest! The next Beer Advocate beer fest will be The Return of the Belgian Beer Fest! It will be held Oct. 27-28 at the Cyclorama in at 539 Tremont St. in Boston. Tickets to the Saturday sessions are $30, and tickets to the Connoisseur Tasting session on Friday are $40. For the extra $10, you get special beer, food, water, a bottle opener, and discounts on BA Gear. Like the last beer fest, there will be unlimited 2 oz. tastings.
Tickets do sell out, so buying them this early isn’t all that crazy. (You can use that excuse when your significant other gives you a cross look.) Harpoon sometimes sells a limited number of discounted tickets. Pay attention to Friend of Harpoon (very nice new design!) email to know when to head to the brewery. Again, BA is likely in need of volunteers again, so if you can’t afford to cough up $30 or have a giving heart, then stay tuned to the BA site.
