Making Your Own Sparkling Wine

Sparkling wine is really nothing more than wine with bubbles, right? As a result, it’s easy to make a homemade sparkling wine. You’ll not only receive oohs and aahs, but you may even save a bundle of cash, too, if you forego shelling out for Champagne.

First, get a bottle of pinot grigio, a sanitized champagne bottle or beer bottles, homebrew yeast, lemon juice, and sugar. Then, mix it all together with the right proportions. Next, bottle and wait a couple weeks. Last, chill and drink. Of course, check out the linked article for fuller directions.

If you really want to invest time and energy, though, you can also do it from scratch. However, this is a quick way to make your own in only 1-2 weeks.
