Last Bartending School Update—I Swear
Today, I finally received in the mail my photo ID for Boston Bartenders School of America and my ServSafe Alcohol Certificate. Considering I originally took the class the week of April 24 and did ServSafe on May 6, all I can say is service is really slow. The certificate is interesting, as it’s a perforated wallet-sized card. My question is: do people actually carry these things around? It’s valid until 5/19/09. The photo ID for Boston Bartenders is valid for life (which stinks because my picture is horrible) and gets free classes, job placement, and whatnot at all affiliated locations nationwide.
How hard is it to get the ServSafe Alcohol certificate? Well, I got a 95% on the test. A passing score is 75%. Seriously, I wonder what in the world I missed on that test, because it was easy, especially since they go over all of the material right then. I’m interested to hear people’s experiences with TIPS.
