Wine Getaways All Across the USA
When people think of American wine, they tend to think of Napa Valley. However, as I’ve written before, there are wineries in all 50 states. (To round out the 50 states, North Dakota was the last in 2002 to license a winery.) USA Today recently published a good article about the proliferation and growth of wineries all throughout the USA. No longer are people merely going Sideways and heading west to California. Instead, wine lovers are visiting the numerous local wineries scattered around the country. There are roughly 4000 total to choose among! It really is the golden age of wine, and I think it’s time to go on a road trip.
