The Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank’s Walnut Street Donor Center in Harrisburg, PA is giving out vouchers for free pints of beer at Molly Brannigans or The Pep Grill. You can give a pint for a pint through Friday and drink between July 31 and August 3, which is probably good thinking on their part. The last thing we need is drunken blood donors running around the streets.
Now, the program simply needs to expand out of Harrisburg. Trust me. If you give beer for blood, the blood banks will be overflowing with donations.

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.
