August Update
It’s been a while since a site update, and honestly, this is about all the energy I can muster at the moment. I have a backlog of dozens of emails, and movers should be arriving in less than six hours to whisk away all our worldly possessions to the new apartment. (I have discovered that we have way too much crap.) This also includes the headache of possibly dealing without Internet access for a week or more! The agony! However, I’ve found a few establishments nearby, which have free wireless—including a bar! Try guessing where I’ll be if I can’t manage to leech some of my neighbors’ wireless.
In the meantime, I encourage you to read my fellow bloggers’ posts. You can see all the links to the left in alphabetical order. Recent additions include:
- Beer Outlaw: Well, this isn’t a blog, but he makes a neat product, which was featured some time ago. I should also be reviewing it shortly. While there, don’t forget to check out the models page to figure out exactly what kind of (hot) woman would wear such a device.
- A Dash of Bitters: I discovered this guy linking to me a while ago and decided to reciprocate. The other Michael concentrates on mixology and has really ramped up the frequency of posts recently.
- Lyke 2 Drink: Yet another Rick joins the drinking blogosphere with a blog about, well, drinking. It’s a very young blog, but it looks very, very promising!
- Sloshed!: Here’s another well-written mixology-focused site, which I discovered sneakily linking to me. Go check it out.
- Women with Wine: Not to play favorites, but I really love this young blog! Featuring women with wine, it starred in a blog entry a few days ago. Even if you’re not a chauvinist male pig like myself, I’m fairly certain you’ll enjoy it, and it seems my LSAT buddy agrees.
If you want to be added to the blogroll, then simply contact me. To qualify, you must 1) have an alcohol-related blog, 2) reciprocate a link, and 3) regularly update your blog with quality posts. Of course, I appreciate any and all links to the site regardless, and I’ll figure out some way to thank all of you (without bankrupting myself).
Aside from that, there really isn’t much site-specific news. However, there are a number of absolutely kickass, upcoming features, which should become live in the near future. I swear! Meanwhile, I’ll be trying to catch up on the dozens of posts I have planned, including a review of La Certeza a

Great links! I’m amassing quite a collection of cocktail-themed blog links at this point. Now if I just had unlimited funds to buy all the ingredients for the recipes…;-)
