Alcohol Halitosis
Yeah, good luck, Caprice. The model is claiming in a London court that she simply suffered from “alcohol halitosis” when she was arrested for drunk driving. Somehow, I don’t think that would ever fly in the USA.
A similar subject recently came up on a mailing list I’m on, discussing the problems of living in a sprawling city that requires driving. Thankfully, I don’t suffer from these sorts of restrictions and can usually walk or take the T home. However, there are plenty of places across the USA that have bars in locations accessible only by car. Do people simply drive drunk? That seems stupid and dangerous to me. You might as well drink at home; it’s cheaper and safer. Or move to a city like New York or Boston.
