China To Become Largest Ice Wine Producer
Ice wine production has spread so far westward that it’s now in the Far East. China is to start making ice wine. Changyu, the largest producer of wine in China, has partnered with Canadian winery Aolas to create an ice winery that will produce 1000 tons annually. Given that total annual global production is only 1000 tons according to the article, that’s tremendous. This is the sort of craziness that can only happen when you have over a billion workers.
