Drinkers Make More

Two economists at the libertarian Reason Foundation released a study showing that social drinkers make more money—about 10% more for men and 14% more for women. Basically, those who drink more network more and thus have more opportunities, which results in making more money. However, the correlation disappears once you hit 35 drinks a week. (Yes, 35!)

Of course, there are critics of this theory. For example, it could be the other way around: people who make more money have more money to drink socially. Plus, drinking can cause serious problems in the workplace when you blab when you drunkenly blab about how much everyone annoys you.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
