Three Cool Wine Gadgets
If you have a few hundred dollars lying around and love wine, then check out these gadgets featured in Newsweek:
- Wine Sceptre: This metal wand goes into the bottle of wine you’re serving to keep it chilled at the optimal temperature. Alternately, it could be used to beat your guests who snub your choice of wine.
- Le Nez du Vin: This kit helps you develop your sense of smell by providing samples, so the next time someone says something like, “There’s not much there yet, but you can still find…a little citrus…maybe some strawberry…passion fruit…and there’s even a hint of like asparagus…or like a nutty Edam cheese,” you can tell them off confidently.
- Clef du Vin: This is a small piece of copper alloy that oxidizes a glass of wine to mimic what it might taste like in the future, so you can determine if you have a winner. Insert your own sarcastic comment here.
