Bukowski’s Tavern Contest
Bukowski’s Tavern is running its annual “PINT” and the “PEN” contest. More importantly, it offers cash prizes of $2500 for 1st place, $1000 for 2nd place, and a set of steak knives for 3rd place. Presumably, the steak knives are so you can then “win” $3500, or if you’re not drunk/stupid enough, then you could use them for eating.
You must be 21+ to enter and must get the rules and an entry form at one of the two locations or from the Friend of Harpoon website. I’d give you a better link, but I’m having trouble logging in. (Plus, there are all sorts of Internet problems here in Boston today.) The deadline is October 25, and the Champion Announcement Party will be on November 8.
