Paris Hilton Promoting Booze
You heard it here first: I think Paris Hilton is a marketing genius. Recently arrested and charged for a DUI, she has only managed to gain more momentum in the marketing world. For some celebrities, DUIs are career ruining moments or at least miserable events they wish to cover up. Then, there are those like George W. Bush who can become President or Paris Hilton who can spin this into lucrative marketing campaigns. Actually, now that I think about it, unless they run over and kill someone, DUIs don’t seem to be a big deal for celebrities. If anything, it’s just more time in the limelight.
Paris Hilton’s latest is promoting a beer at Oktoberfest in Germany. (I have to admit that she and her friend look pretty hot in those dirndls.) Plus, she’s promoting the wine Prosecco, the sparkling wine in a can.
Will there be an end to the madness? I doubt it. Expect her visage to soon be on every bottle of beer, wine, and liquor at the package store. Get used to it now.
