Find That Happy Hour!
There’s a whole slew of mashups out there that offer the ability to find happy hours or watering holes near you, usually using the Google Maps API. Some may serve your purposes better than others depending on your location, though most offer the ability to improve the site. Here’s just a few that have come across my screen:

- CheaperDrinker.com (Minneapolis/St. Paul)
- Thrifty Hipster (Minneapolis/St. Paul)
- MplsHappyHour (Minneapolis/St. Paul)
- DrinkGuru (small Boston section)
- Where2Match (more than just drinks)
- MappyHour (possibly the most comprehensive)
- Drinkdeal.com (focused on NYC)

You should add http://www.eatdrinkdeals.com to your list. We started only a few months ago but already have 12 major cities listed with more coming regularly. Each city has an average of about 120+ entries. We don’t just have happy hour specials though, we also tell our users about food specials like 2 for 1 appetizers. Of course we feature the standard google maps, table view, and user edited data as well. Check us out and let us know what you think.
