Hardee’s $6000 Combo Meal
Considering the closest Hardee’s is 229.1 miles away, this isn’t necessarily relevant to my life. However, if I run across a Hardee’s, I’m definitely stopping by the closest wine shop, as they’ve released a wine pairing guide for their burgers. This comes on the heels of their $6000 combo meal, available exclusively at the Palms. Check out the rather ridiculous commercial here. And here’s a rundown of the pairings:
- 1/3 lb. Original Thickburger: Australian Shiraz or Californian Syrah
- 1/3 lb. Bacon Cheese Thickburger: Cotes du Rhone
- 1/3 lb. Mushroom ‘N’ Swiss Thickburger: Chianti or Barbera
- 2/3 lb. Monster Thickburger: Lirac from Rhone Valley
- 1/3 lb. Jalapeno Thickburger: Zinfandel
- Charbroiled Chicken Club Sandwich: Pinot Noir
- Charbroiled BBQ Chicken Sandwich: Zinfandel
I wish you good luck in trying to drink this in the restaurant. To be sneaky, maybe you should pour the wine into one of those wax paper cups.
