All About Wineglasses

Wine GlassIf you’re looking to take your wine drinking to the next level (and I don’t mean by reaching for a second or third bottle), then you should take a look at this lengthy article about wineglasses.

It’s a seriously detailed article that covers pretty much all aspects of the wineglass, including some things I’d never thought about. For example, cheaper wine glasses tend to have rolled rims, which acts like a mini-dam, causing the wine to spill into your mouth haphazardly. (Yup, mine have those. I’m poor.) Also, it includes such tips as “wash wineglasses the morning after, when you’re not tired and less likely to crack the glass against the sink or snap a chunk off of the bowl while drying it”, i.e., when you’re not drunk.

Unfortunately, much of the article reads like a giant ad for Riedel, but they do admittedly have some of the best wineglasses out there.
