Drinkers hoping to get drunk more quickly have been snorting vodka through their noses using straws or thin glass tubes, but officials are warning that the practice may cause serious health damage. This is especially evident as many snorters quickly end up in tears or immediately falling to the floor. As Nick Tegadine of the Alcohol Problems Advisory Service succinctly warns, “When you’re collapsed on the floor you certainly do not look very clever.”
