Moderate Drinking Could Boost Memory

An OSU researcher reveals that moderate drinking may actually improve your memory. Doses of alcohol given to rats proves it. After being given the human equivalent of two drinks a day, lab rats showed changes in their neurons, which may prevent Alzheimer’s in humans. (Did I post about this before?)

Of course, research from one of the nation’s top party schools ought to be combined with the knowledge that heavy drinking is linked to brain loss.

For whatever reason, I have a mental image of Popeye when reading this article. However, he’s drinking beer instead of spinach, and his brain swells rather than his biceps.
