First, don’t forget that tomorrow is election day! Make sure you cast your vote on a number of important alcohol-related issues. Regardless, you should be voting anyway! (Note that I’ll likely not be posting tomorrow, as I’m the election clerk for my precinct.)
Second, I’ve been informed that I’m in the top five for the Bukowski Tavern “Pint” and the “Pen” contest! (I really hope there was more than five entries!) Even if I don’t get $2500, $1000, or a set of steak knives, I’m still happy. See either my triumphant win or devastating defeat this Wednesday at Bukowski Tavern in Inman Square. The Champion Announcement Party begins around 8 PM.
Third, I received a free SV Supreme Vodka poster today! Honestly, I don’t remember entering any contest, but I’m sure not complaining! I think what I did was sign up to receive promotional emails from them. Right now, they’re offering a free cocktail guide for signing up. Who knows? Maybe it’ll turn into a poster!
