What Does 50-Year-Old Beer Taste Like?

50-year-old Can of CoorsHikers discovered 50-year-old cans of beer in a Californian desert. Curious as to what Coors tastes like after sitting out in the sun for half a century, they opened a can to discover that it looked like cough syrup and smelled like fermented wine and dirt.

They decided not to drink it.

The beer is leftover from a railroad accident that occurred on the San Diego and Arizona Eastern. One car had been carrying Coors beer and spilled beer all over the desert. Apparently, the wreckage itself is still there, though it was thought that all the beer cans had been collected. Apparently not.
